All of a sudden it really feels like winter- the time for the great warming comfort foods.We have just put on the menu sticky date pudding with caramel sauce.
Try that by the fire!
My personal favourite is raspberry and almond tart. This is the perfect mix – raspberries and almond frangipane. Just warm it and serve with crème fraiche or vanilla bean ice cream.
If you want a cake to celebrate how about Chocolate with Belgian chocolate frosting or Lemon Syrup. Our current best seller other than Chocolate (if in doubt choose chocolate) is Banana with caramel frosting. The smell of caramel cooking is wonderful.
